چکیده

The formulation of diets from vegetable protein enriched with immunostimulants is a suitable feeding strategy for shrimp culture. This study evaluated feed formulated wheat (Tritium sativum) and chickpea (Cicer arietinum) spirulina (Spirulina maxima) Litopenaeus vannamei farming. A based on (2.5:1) containing 3% was developed characterized by proximal chemical analysis. experimental along commercial in five-week field bioassay to determine the growth, survival, health status juvenile shrimp. In addition, water salinity (mg·L-1) monitored as an environmental stability factor cultures. composition contained 17.5 ±0.1% protein, 2.2 ±0.3% lipids 68.0 carbohydrates. specific growth rate (0.22 ±0.05 g·days-1) under did not show statistical differences comparison (P> 0.05). Also, it determined that fed presented biomass production (0.74 ±0.17 g), survival (>98%) (P <0.05) better than feed. influence rule out demonstrated offers diet benefit performance

Osmotic adjustment in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) results in no yield benefit under terminal drought.

Variation in osmotic adjustment (OA) among chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) cultivars has been observed when exposed to terminal drought, but some studies suggest that this benefits yield while others suggest it does not benefit yield in water-limited environments. In the present study, parents differing in OA were crossed and a set of advanced breeding lines (ABLs) developed for yield testing. Th...
